Pick or unpick objects

Use Pick > Object to pick objects. You can also use different pick tools to pick more specific types of objects.

Pick or unpick an object

Choose Pick > Object .
Do any of the following:
- Click a mouse button to pick or unpick a single object.
- Drag a mouse button to draw a pick box around one or more objects.
- Type the name of an object to pick it.

Pick or unpick object components or specific object types

In the Palette, choose Pick > Component .
Use the component filter buttons under the menus to the left of the prompt line to choose which component types you want to pick.

NoteSections and Meshes do not have filter buttons and must be set in the option box.

What do the filter icons mean?

Click or drag to pick components of the types whose filter buttons are pushed in.
