File > Open and File > Import > File have a new option called Keep Bookmarks.
If Keep Bookmarks is on (default), bookmarks are imported as before. If Keep Bookmarks is off, the bookmarks are not imported. This helps avoid the proliferation of bookmarks that can occur when importing several files.
