Open the print setup and print windows

1. Choose File > Print and click the Setup button to open the Print Setup window.
2. In the Print Setup window, click the Viewing tab.

Choose the scaling factor

• If Viewing Type is Screen, dolly in or out in a view box to change how large or small objects appear.

  See Change the layout of view boxes on the printout.

• When Viewing Type is Scale to Fit, the program automatically controls the scaling factor to fit all visible objects in the available space.
• When Viewing Type is Scale or Screen Scale, do any of the following to change the scaling:
  • Under Scale Type click Ratio, then in the Scale text box type the ratio between modeling units and units on the page (for example, 2:1 or 1:100). For actual size type 1:1.
  • Under Scale Type click Percentage, then in the Scale text box type the percentage of modeling units to use on the page. For actual size type 100.
